Visual identity and video commissions for the launch of Alexander, an app developed to bring longform journalism to a new digital landscape.

Alexander is a long form journalism app delivering global, non-fiction stories from the world’s best storytelling talent. Think Paris Review meets The New Yorker meets Vanity Fair. The app commissions original work from writers, giving them a place to tell their own compelling, unexpected stories. Working with a diverse selection of award winning authors, actors, illustrators, animators and directors, an entire visual world was created. From the app’s UX and design language to a series of videos and illustrations - each element of the platform’s interface helps bring each of the app’s unique stories to life.
