A series of archival documentary shorts honoring the lives of prominent LGBTQ activists to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Stonewall Riots for CNN.
Harvey Milk
Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected public official in California, was assassinated in 1978, eleven months after his election. The documentary short was inspired by Milk’s campaign posters and buttons, as well as queer activist protest signs of the 1960s and ‘70s.
