A bespoke design suite for architectural and design firm, Roman & Williams
The collaboration started with a custom newspaper and extended through to exhibition design, print advertising, and digital touch points. The inaugural issue of Roman & Williams INK, The Language of Light, showcases the brand’s handcrafted lighting designs and their deep connection to nature. This 32-page newspaper is designed to evoke a tactile, handcrafted feel, incorporating collage techniques. Drawing inspiration from iconic downtown New York art newsprints of the 1960s as well as the high craft ethos of the R&W universe.
Visual identity for Roman and Williams’s career-spanning retrospective, A Certain Slant of Light, that showcased over 100 pieces of the Roman and Williams Guild’s lighting. The identity was brought to life across exhibition invites, posters, OOH wheat-pasting, and signage, embodying the tactile and textural essence inspired by the Guild’s work.
